Take a look as a comparison to all the other smaller businesses etc that contribute en-mass far greater figures and are all shut down.

Or perhaps education, foreign students etc. by the financial logic we should have all of them back long before 4 blokes trying to shove 3 blokes heads up 2 blokes arses. Corona Virus

Sport is only ongoing as it pacifies the masses.

    Has done for centuries.

The footy/rugby in my opinion is gladiator shows to shut the masses up.
Correct, the Roman Emperors or Caesars used to say that all you needed to do to pacify the masses was "Bread and Circuses" i.e. provide enough food to eat and entertainment to distract them from what was really going on.

Lots of news today- 12-15 year olds with medical conditions may be able to get Pfizer if ATAGI gives the nod. and
"Mr Hunt confirmed that September, early-October is the expected timeline for under-40s to receive their first Pfizer jab.

“That is the expectation at the moment. If there were to be a variation, we can bring it forward.”

Both are via a TV news interview this morning- It is a little hard to understand whats the point of Department of health commonwealth and state if almost all the critical bits are twitter, social media or LOOK AT ME grandstanding on your favorite media organizations

My phones my ring hot now by all the people unhappy they have not been allowed into the line up yet. Brought some doughnuts for my staff on the way to work

News headlines growing by the minute

EDIT: Devil is in the detail which is a tiny byline MUD clear- "Although the vaccine has been approved for this younger age group, they won't be included in the rollout for some time."

Back in Fortress Queensland with the border closed.
Up here it's a strange mixture. Can have 100 people at home, but masks required outside. Meanwhile there's Covid in the Byron sewerage and they're Covid testing the locals in Longreach of all places, which must be a shock to the residents.
So we wait as the NSW situation deteriorates. Strange days indeed.

Fortress? SES has put out a call for volunteers to man the borders, find your own way there, no accommodation supplied.
There'll be very little impediment crossing the Tweed northbound.

NSW should do the job for Qld; Turn the feckers round at Mullumbimby.
    Cheers, Billy.

It would be even more helpful if NSW could turn the "visitors" from covid central around before they went to Bunnings and KFC in Goulburn. NB, just repeating a news.com claim, the "visitors" may have been authorised escapees but don't let the facts get in the way.....

In the NZ presser today our Director General of Health indicated "We are watching very closely to see what this means for how we respond in NZ". This in relation to how NSW responded and I guess a tacit indication of what not to do when it ends up here eventually.
