Hmmm need blinkers and not the car type.

Around lunch time Friday I was given the task of going and getting some steel that had been ordered. A coworker asked if he could come along and we could stop of at the 4wd Supercentre in Greens rd Dandenong, less than a kilometer from the steel place. Boss give the green light so of we go ( see where this is heading ? ) Yep stepped into the store and stepped out with a new compressor. Coworker was going there with the intent of getting something. I was of course not. Got a free gift as well. I chose the Kettle. Got home and presented the kettle to the missus and said it cost $149 but you get a free air compressor with it. I think pleading forgiveness might have been better than a dad joke. Actually the missus was OK with the purchase, not so much the dad joke. I do have a wait of two weeks till I can pick up the compressor as they where out of stock, except for the one on display. Which they where not going to part with. My old compressor is about fifteen years old and has seen better days. You have to give it a shake to get it working and it will stop randomly. So although a spontaneous purchase it was with some thought to what I needed.

    Well done, I think.

She probably got a bit cranky because you paid $149 for a Kettle? WW have kettles for about $10.

Re kettles, I bought one of those volcano types, e.g., Kelly Kettle, etc.

While it works really well, I can't take it in the car as the tars that build up inside the chimney really do stink the car out. So it never gets used.
