OK, we won't be in Hobart before the 28th. No worries, I don't know any of the local candidates anyway.
Normally available at AEC offices - presumably only Hobart for TAS.
Just had a quick scan of Qld EC documents on their website. Looks like no outside Qld voting places for the local Gov't elections (although should be for the concurrent state by-elections), just postal voting which has closed.
Thanks for your trouble. Not worried.
I used to vote in London however they closed the building and the local representation a few years ago
well, I'm glad members from every other council in Queensland don't put a post up.
DM, several years ago, I was in W.A. (Cape Leveque, from memory) when the Qld local councils' elections were held. I received a letter a few months letter stating that I didn't vote and was there a reason.
I phoned the number provided on the letter and explained my situation to the affable young bloke who answered. He replied 'No worries. Thanks for the call'. I never heard any more about it.
Things may have changed though, in the 'Scale of Naughtiness', for such a heinous crime.
It's okay, I'll just blame the Coronavirus and say Queensland was a cesspit of disease, so we stayed in safe Tasmazia. [emoji3]
If the elections don't go ahead how will we be able to decide WHICH bunch of corrupt bungling fools we put in charge?
