Not essential here, either, but the govt. won't like me going to the shops in the nude.

See the SBS TV series "NU" (aka Nude)

A police inspector who wakes up from an eight year coma must adapt to the radical change that everyone living in France is naked. He soon learns that not everyone agrees with the government's mandatory nudity policy.
Actually, it's not just France, it's everywhere in the world except the UK.

    Good job. Pipetting manually sucks.

Government here has just added bottle shops to the list of essential businesses that need to stay open and have now removed shops selling sports clothing and associated gear from the essential list.

So as hardware stores are essential you can buy paint but no longer a cricket bat. Or is it that they were worried people here might start to panic buy base ball bats

Um, No, not for me .... being retired and unskilled is obviously not essential

We're hopefully safely hunkered down for the duration.

It's good to know that there are really friendly and supportive aulros nearby who could assist in the unlikely event that help was ever required - I'm not goin' anywhere.

Looks like more reading and Antiques Roadshow for me

Which reminds me guys - Kooti Motor Club is off and I can only expect there will be no meet up for beers on the 2nd April ?

Have I mentioned where I work before ..... I'm IT not a lab person. We're the guys that link that instrument to our lab system.... At the moment I'm working on sending out corona virus SMS results. The world is changing fast. Who would ever have thought the government would request we send out patient results via SMS.

Perhaps the Yanks are correct then, with the term 'Cell Phone'?

You work in Bendigo ( sorry Ballarat) for a large private labs IT department. Your campany just changed names again.... The instrument I'm installing is in the laboratory off your former CEO. I think I got that right. Everything is changing fast we just got orders for 2 more instruments to run our respiratory virus and covid 19 tests at a public hospital, normally would take months or years.
