Isn't just! A month ago I'd allow 90 minutes to get from Redland Bay to the City in peak hour. Did it today in 40 minutes.
Sadly though, the % (if not the sum) of idiots on the road remains the same if today's sample is anything to go by.

My work is classed essential - and the run to work today took 5m (that’s meters not minutes) to walk to the Recliner and kick the laptop into gear.
Work from home for me is being enforced on a roster / emergency basis. We have compartmentalised our operations and almost all avenues of cross contamination have been removed.
I’m back on site for my stint on Thursday.
In the meantime, electronic only.
Well after a week - the plebs are finally allowed to work from home - no doubt due to bad publicity the Federal Public Service was getting due to making them go to work when the PM was saying everyone should stay at home wherever possible - I suspect the Mandarins were called in and given a good talking too in view of the bad look.
5 meters isn't far![smilebigeye]

My housemate has been working from home now for three days - on the first day he had to go back into work because the link would not work - got it sorted.
Day two was all OK but he found a pop up window which shows which other members of his team are online, none of them were on line so having a good time at home and not working.
Day 3 - today he needed access to the classified IT system which cannot be accessed from home, so off to work again. He went to his desk only to find all his IT equipment had been nicked by other workers who were still going to work - [bighmmm].
So he is working from home but really is a waste of time.
