A pharmacist said soap is best, alcohol-based sanitisers are next best, but if you can't get them, dishwashing fluid can also do some good. Washing hands purely with water doesn't kill it, but can wash it off the hands.
Another tip is to wear gloves when handling the pumps at servos, as people can leave it on the handles.
Door handles, particularly in publuc toilets, and rails in shopping centres are other dodgy surfaces.
We have put a packet of disposable gloves in the Defender.
Wearing a face mask wont give much protection from sneezing because they only protect the mouth and nose, but globules can go all over the head. If you are sick, wearing a face mask can stop you from spraying it on other people. So I assume people wearing a face mask are sick.
