Disney+ is really good as they just added a heck load to their STAR section, Netflix and stan best other 2. I've also got Amazon prime but find it frustrating that so many on there are rent/buy on top of the monthly fee!

Speaking of gone, today in this household is the first time in 21 years that we are not connected to Foxtel. :soapbox: Cheeky bastards wanted to jack the monthly up another $10 p/m.

I told them we are not paying any more for the same old, same old **** of repeats of repeats of repeats & terrible presenters. All Channels have now gone to the big network in the sky..

Nope, enough is enough. Back to "Free" to air" & Netflix & jeeeeezuz isn't F t A **** these days. But they do insist on getting their box back although the cabling & Dish can stay on the roof. Thanks ****stel, for nothing. If we wish to get shot of all that gear we have to pay some "Specialist" to disconnect it all safely. ****, it can stay there. I guess that is ours anyway.


How hard can it be to use some Wire & Bolt cutters FFS?


I don't dare try to calculate how many Billions we paid in 21 years, we must own 50% of Foxtel by now. Another Call Centre in Asia to contend with as well with a long Menu to punch in before you can even get there. "No thanks I just wish to speak to a human please. "Wossat you don't have any any more?"

Early days they were a good alternative to F t A Channels with all their crap advertising & that was ok but even SKY News seems to have gone in that direction, the hungry bastards.

The Smart TV remote is now all very handy with all our preferred channels in order at the top of the remote 123 & 4 underneath LH side. Much more sensible.

Being a Smart TV it must feel all out of sorts living here. Jeeezuz what a mess of cables behind the cabinet. Seems any Tom Dick or Harry from foxtel just chucked their stuff in any old how, (& why not, it isn't their home) also just as well I bought a new pack of Coloured Cable ties recently as 'er indoors has got it all neat & tidy & colourful. now.

Libraries here are bit hopeless. Any book I requested always seems to be in some technical Library around Oz & for me to get it they want me to cough up about $15 to get a book from somewhere else. Libraries never used to do that & I suspect it is another cash grab idea that someone has come up with.

They are streaming things, so full of movies and TV shows you can access any time. If your smart TV is connected to internet, you down load thr apps for which rver of them you like, sign up and enjoy thousands of movies etc :D
I have a TV in my bedroom, connected to the internet, no TV aerial point but I even have apps fir thr free to air TV channels I can watch on it. It's very cool!
