A good old mate was a chef there for a while. Five star a la carte menu for a discerning clientele. The owners were a late middle age gay couple who had been together for decades. They had a pub and two theatre restaurants as well. All tres gay joints. My mate says too many employers in hospitality are iceholes but this couple were the kindest, most considerate bosses he ever had. He told me they did have some very strange friends. He said late night drinks after closing attracted a vivid cross section of Brisbane's LBGQTI community. One household name TV star was known as "Old Longpockets".

I'm not. But the 5 o'clock shadow may be a tad bit of a giveaway.
