HAHAHA yep, is a funny story hahaha!! How are you only 20kms away and haven't run into you? (not literally like this commodore haha) It was really early one morning, on way to get horses out as farrier was coming, I was at the intersection of Bakers Gully Road, waiting to pull out and turn right onto Mclaren Flat Road. Id looked both ways, and looked far up each road. Was a white trady 4wd with a huge white trailer on it. Couldnt see anything behind it, they turned left on to the road i was leaving, thought it was clear, started moving, next minute a commodore was right in front of me. He was tailgating the trady trailer/ute, so I never saw him but did the wrong thing pulling out without waiting for the ute to turn fully haha. Pulled over, he was angry at first then saw me and was super nice. I just apologised for pulling out when I did and not seeing him, he was ohh this intersection too dark, he didnt have his lights on, all was good. Im like dude, I drove into you this is my fault haha. But then sorted insurance really fast for him. That same day also took out a flock of 5 chickens that exploded out of bushes right infront of me. It was a sad day really LOL.

Exploding Chickens! Road hazards everywhere these days it seems. Was nearly over your way today until we had an altercation/misunderstanding on what day it was.

Looks like next week now. Possibly.

Tradie 4WD are buggers of things but you are right, you have to wait for traffic to pass before moving one Iota.

I've been caught out a few times by drivers indicating turning L or R & at the last second going straight ahead but not anymore.

You have to treat everyone else on the road as idiots & not knowing what they are going to do.

Got that tip from my WO1 Army RAEME driving instructor F in L years ago

Btw, my Kitchen comment wasn't implying anything, it was just a tongue in cheek pop at today's society at keeping the "Little Woman chained to the kitchen sink etc"..

    Just sayin'.

Then had a family range rover, after trying a disco but folks went the rangie. My friend who is passed now, she had a disco as well and spent so many hours in that. (hers is the wreck here now) I have been with fellas though who would tell me what I could or couldnt do, including my car choice, so was never allowed to have a landie! So as soon as I was my own woman 8 years ago, first thing I did was get the Disco! Have had so many 4wds and cars, its by far my fave. I love Defenders too. But just love the look of the disco's, and how they drive. Gives me a smile every time. Once get the hand controls in it, we are off adventuring too! Cannot wait! Feel like the Disco and I have been through so many storms LOL, we ride those waves now!

The start of the year is always hard to keep track of what day it is.
So many numpties on the roads too, some just have to wonder what is going on inside their heads

I love the old time era but had I been born into it, I'd definitely have been thrown in jail or something The COVID-19 & Corona free thread.

8 years between these photos!!! The day picked up the Disco (is its old owner still on this forum?) and when washed it the other day. Few battle scars from fights with kangaroos, still the same headlight with a hole in it ..............
I actually repaired a hole in my D2 with one of those windscreen repair kits as the headlights are glass.

Geez, there's no lucerne in my car and it's allegedly a fully optioned HSE.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
