Is that really what I need to do replace the hose? Disco was meant to tow my horse to the beach on Sunday haha

Mario has reliable, quality hoses.
Is that a low level or temperature sensor in the hose? Did the hose need modification to fit the sender?

I checked his website and he's out of stock on this one I have no idea what the sensor is, it's never notified me when coolant has been low though my original hose split, this was one of the low km disco wreck here, they all have that screw hole though

Just pull that slide terminal off while the engine is running and see what comes up. The hose appears to be crumbling away where the sensor screws in, so probably past repairing.
