Okay, I'll bite..What were the prizes? Photo..?
Also, does your D2 have a 2" lift and are those 245/75R16 tyres you're running there?
Is your Dad's D1 a TDI?
cheers...
Disco is off tomorrow night, ready for a Tuesday start on the hand controls and disability modswe loaded the powerchair up tonight so it can be dropped off with it, instead of a separate trip on a trailer on Tuesday morning with my appointment there. Weather is forecast yucky so not great for a powerchair to be in the elements on a trailer haha. Glad for the discos airbags as Franklin weighs approximately 150 kgs in the back. Think will definitely be due to replace the shockers in the near future! My tie down skills are not great haha!
Also I entered a father's day competition run by a wonderful company called A247gear. I won for dad and Iso daddy daughter discos with our awesome prize

Visited the disco last week!
This is how I'll be driving the old girl from here on out. I'm still really anxious even though I have had 2 lesson with these type of hand controls, and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a person who loves cars and driving them like I stole them and out bush, I'm so nervous if I'll be able to do all thise things and still drive it how i love to drive and enjoy this passion of mine.
Its so exciting!! Even with my anxiety with the change haha!
Did I share the video of the flooding here?

Looks like the Control Panel for a Saturn V moonshot.Willshire's building was the old Carrier Air Conditioning's premises for years during the Golden Years although it does look a bit different today.
Just recalled. If you are looking for more Tie Down Loops ask Willshires if it isn't too late, as they rip them out of Panel Vans.
When they were in KW St they gave me a handful (4) for my 2A. I think they came out of Mitsubishi panel Vans.
Just a thought.
Well, that's all a bit posh!
I would have just glued a walking stick to each of the brake and accelerator pedals! But that could just be my Scottish heritage coming out tho'...
Nup, no flood videos...
And,..what's your fog light switch doing over that side of the binnacle? Driving light switch perhaps?
Should see the automatic tailgate!! Opens and closes with a buttonthe tailgate lock actuator in mine is broken though, so it won't latch how it needs to. I've sent a spare old one I had here in hopes iys got the springs in it that mine is missing, and gets it all working. If not I need a new one asap so they can finish that.
The big lifter that lifts my powerchair in is also brilliant! I'll share videos of it when I can![]()
Thats an awesome fact about willshire building!
