Thread: Ace's VIII- June Long Weekend

Hi guys, sorry no can do, the weekend 2 weeks after the long weekend is one weekend before we go away for a week so i need to service the car etc, then when i get back i will need a week or two to get the funds back up.

I reckon 2 weeks after the expo is the go, i know its a long time but stacey doesnt want me 4wding so close to the holiday incase i brake something and cant repair it in time, or worse still have to spend half the savings we have away to fix it. The date 2 weeks after the expo is the 5-6th August, by this time the carport/BBQ area will be totally finished and we can be the first to test it all out.

Believe me when i say i would like to do it sooner but i just cant, i should have thought of the long weekend sooner. Sorry guys. Matt

5th & 6th of August locked in Eddie.I'm supposed to be organising a very easy day around Zig Zag soon with a few guys from work. It's going to be an easy trip as their wives/kids will be coming along. Would you be interested in that with Marcos ?

Yeah i would scott, just let me know when it is, i have canned going to the 4x4 Australia Show to save the cash but a day trip would be good. I assume it will be a weekend. Matt

The weekend after the long weekend would be best, i might be able to convince stacey to let me go on an easy day trip before the holiday but i am not sure. Matt

Sorry Matt. The weekend of 17th/18th is out for me.How does the 8th or 9th of July sound to you ? (I have to line it up with the other guys first though)

Yeah we wont be here then, the weekend after would be good, but that is the one before the expo. If it is an easy trip and there is not risk of damage and i can convince stacey then the 24-25th of this month should be good. Which tracks did you have in mind? Matt

I'm not sure of which tracks at the moment. Probably sections of the powerline track, the back of Lost City & maybe out to Bird Rock - it probably depends on the weather. I can't see us doing anything anything to difficult or rough. I'm not sure of the 24th/25th - I'll talk to the guys at work on Monday.
