Thongs are footwear and footwear alone.
When my son was a young bloke, I took him to Melbourne, to see the big smoke for his first time. We parked the truck in Bourke Street and walked back to Myers. Neither of us could work out why everyone seemed to be staring at us, til Ben pointed out that we were the only people wearing thongs.
I bet I couldn't find a space ,in Bourke Street, these days to park a semi.[biggrin]

Calamvale is quite nice now.

🤣🤣🤣 can relate! I generally get to pour stuff, carry delicate things and wash up the glassware as SWMBO has a similar effect on those items...😲
