Thread: RAFFLE, again.

At Inala Centrelink the uniform for male unemployed used to be mismatched thongs, Stubbies shorts with hip pocket half ripped off and a copy of Best Bets shoved in, and a coloured singlet. At Woodridge it was no shirt, long trousers, bare feet.

I nearly forgot the packet of Drum tobacco shoved into the waistband.

Clarification, it was a Sunday and I was unloading in Footscray Monday morning.

Up until last week there was plenty of space and free parking - you could have had your pick of any street you could get down to park on.

Not sure about flip flops, but when the kids were little, we put elastic from one side of their thong, round the heel to the other side.

I managed to park George the Defender in Bourke Street for an hour on a Sunday on our way to Tassie earlier this year, right behind a bright orange Lambo.

If Ian wants to wear thongs that's fine by me. The bloke in this story mows the lawn in his undies!
