The old gallery pics
wow, what a job...
made up a dvd of all the original pics uploaded to the old gallery. I had to lose all the resized and thumbnail images to get it to fit on one DVD and even then it barely fitted.
most pics were uploaded into unnamed albums and then the albums named which means the albums have numbers not identifying names so you have to sort thru most of them to find whats what.
i am going to try and import them into the new gallery en masse and try to set it up so you can identify and move them to your albums... not sure if it can be done, but will try...
or maybe i can send you a copy ?

SubscriberSounds good inc, i must admit i have all my photos on the hard drive at work and home anyway so for me it's not that much of an issue but there some that the photos in the old gallery are their only copies, maybe for them a copy would be better.

SubscriberI'd like (if possible) to have at least my trips album uploaded to the new site so I can bring my Fraser Island Trip reports across and have the photos here too.

you can already do that yourself by going to the old site, right clicking on the pics there, saving them to your hdd then upload them to your gallery on the new site, then editing the new img links in the trip reports and youre done!

i can only seem to upload from my hard drive??
and i cant figure out how to organise the pic's into albums???

the old gallery is NOW available at the old site. now on www.our4wd.com and in the menu like it used to be. ( i forgot i disabled it so i could get the data onto dvd, silly me)
it will be available for a couple of weeks till i take the old site down seeing the new site has most of the info in it now, and i want the domain name back :P
if you want a copy of the DVD, i will send one to your door for $10 to cover postage packing disc etc etc, or $5 if you pick them up from me....
let me know if you want a copy....
