Yes, as far as I can tell they go bloody everywhere during inspection. I think it would be easiest (since you have a comp truck) to do a body of chassis and strip clean it that way. It might actually off-set the extra work you would need to do with everything still in place. You want to give that beauty a good technical over anyway if you are going to tackle those kinds of tracks. I must say, my rig is probably not capable of doing that track but it sure as heck sounds like fun! Probably won't stop me trying... The most difficult things I've done are the shoehorn in wales etc.

Anyway, not sure about drilling holes but I seriously meant you need to be able to eat from the vehicle... It costs around 1k AUD to get the vehicle cleaned, see that video I posted.

    Cheers!

The Shoehorn in Wales, I think you mean the Horseshoe? Also known in Laning circles as Bastard Lane. It’s an excellent track and difficult when iced up, unfortunately the authorities have calmed it down recently by filling some holes

Ah, yes, that one Last time I was there (oktober '19) we wrecked a couple of D3's, a jeep and I slipped of the brake with my muddy clogs and slammed my chassis ( DOH! ) but I made it So are you telling me that my roofrack will no longer scrape the wall? Or did they keep that loooong deep rut?

I should have a bunch of pics and vids from that part somewhere...

    Cheers,

I think the roof rack will probably get torn off, they filled a few side slopes in and made it down hill only, but it’s a voluntary restriction, it’s still a cracking track though, I’m not sure I’d take my D4 near it😂

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Well, alright then. I messed up in the first vid. Wet slippery boots that you try and reposition whilst coming down = less braking pressure = BANG

Lessons were learned. As you can see it took us quite some time to get everyone through that we ended up playing in the dark...
