Well who needs a satnav when you get directions as good as this?

Bloody Hell, how much extra time would you need for that? That would be a hard one to work out! I wonder if it makes any difference which direction you're travelling?

    Signs are invaluable, ay!

I reckon the woman in front of me this morning. Major tram works going on not far away from my place and this woman just couldn't get it into her head to just follow the detour signs. She kept randomly stopping in the middle of the road with her head up her posterior, and not at any place you'd expect her too knowing she was confused as to what was going on around her.
I finally lost it and raced around her(only as hard as an auto D1 tdi could 'race' tho) over traffic barriers and whatnot.. just had enough.
I reckon she'd have got completely confuse with that detour .. for sure she'd have tried to veer right or reverse back or something other than what the sign said too.

She sounds like the majority of Perth drivers at any time. I thought living in Mentone for 18 months had prepared me for anything on the road until I got transferred here....

A quick glance at the fuel gauge just to make sure there was enough in the tank for this unexpected extra travelling....
