Thanks mate, yes got home fine, a lot of steering vibration. Had a look at the track Friday night, seemed a lot better today but still needs a wheel alignment. I'll be doing that on Wednesday.
By the wa, my battery's crapped itsself , be getting a new one of those too I guess. This one's only about 18 months old

What brand is the battery sean? Surely they should have some sort of warranty with them. Matt

Maybe if it wasn't bouncing around it might have lasted longer .

Was it the correct capacity for the Disco ? It looked a little small out at Yalwal.

Perhaps it os a little small, got that in an emergency. We were down for the w/end, I had a job interview that saturday morning, I woke up and the car wouldn't start. Figured straight away it was the battery. Walked 2kms to the local servo for a new one, bought the biggest ****er I could find and lugged the damn thing 2kms home, on foot
Got it home and found the damn thing was too big, fortunately I'd put the old one on the charger before leaving and it had enough power to start the Disco. Drove back to the servo and exchanged it for the next size down.
Yeah you're probably right about the bouncing thing

Ace the warranty's only 12 months

Thanks DiscoTDI, and we're actually getting plenty of sleep
