Years ago SWMBO used to get a strange and wierd calls from some bloke.
We worked out it was always same time of the day, random days.
In those days we used to switch phone over after hours to a paging service.
So we switched the phone over at the time he used to call, for a few days.
Never heard from him again![]()

The phonee could pick up their receiver and resume the conversation.

Pretty bloody pathetic really, we have a whole government department devoted to cyber security the ACSC or Australian Cyber Security Centre. It's part of a re branded Defence Signals Directorate (intelligence spies) called the 'Australian Signals Directorate' which apparently now has an on shore intelligence role.
Any way with an annual budget of around a Billion$$ or so (I kid you not), and this is just the transparent budget numbers, it is unable to sort a simple cyber based scam originating from a nearby 2nd or 3rd world **** hole. Makes you wonder if the ACSC is really a fair dinkum body or just a conduit to funnel funds to other more clandestine areas. If it can't sort a simple problem like 'Nicole' then whats the point of its existence ?
