I suspect he either let something slip, or actually admitted something.
Or the plod went straight to an old gold mining area that was between the camping area and where he exited the valley.

A mate of a mate (you know how it goes) knows someone on the police team…
* He admitted it
* He told them the location of the bodies
* He buried them in a shallow grave
* He couldn’t get back there for 8 months because of the Covid lockdowns
* His house was bugged
* The 60 minutes story was somewhat of a plant - they wanted to hear what would be said
* His wife said “look - your car is on the news again”
* After lockdown he went back up there and burnt the bodies
That’s what I was told - time will tell how much of that is true, and how much is made up..
We may never know, that sort of information is sometimes never released, for obvious reasons.
They said in the 12 O’clock news that he led the police to where he buried them. But that’s all they said.
Sorry, James, but I disagree. The psychotic, or even psychopathic, seem to be becoming more prevalent. Recent events, and movements, in the US appear to demonstrate this. We aren't the US ( yet ), but we're gettin there.

was based on a number of cases active here in Oz. Now, I know Mick Taylor is BS, but the idea behind him is not. At the beginning of the 2005 film they stated that 30,000 people go missing each year in Oz. Back then... 20 years ago.. Sure, maybe 90% get found. 10% of 30.000 is 3,000.Sure, lot's of them are found. Also sure, a number have ****ed off. still leaves quite a number that may have fallen to weirdness. You can't write it off. It can get weird out there. Spend 10 minutes in Coober Pedy and tell me I'm lying...
