    Andy,
Have not had the minuses here yet, but was 0.1 degree the other morning and has been averaging 2-3 degrees for the last couple of weeks up here. All OK except I am back on my Duke at 0515am now. maybe time to swap the Duc for another Rangie???

I really sympathize with all you track workers and stationstaff,
I'll turn up the gas heater in my signalbox in your honour.

Midday and the boys are still finding chunks of ice at our place. Last night was the coldest yet this year.

I'm not station staff or a track worker. I work in a gas heated signal box at Katoomba.

    Yep,

figured it would get cold last night down that way, spent Saturday night at a mates place just out of Tarago. At 6AM yesterday it was 9 degrees at 9AM it was just below 5 degrees when we left at 5PM it was clear, ground wet and heading for a pretty cold night.

Still I would say the locals would have welcomed the 35mm of rain over Sat night.
