back when i was that weight.....i used to feel it too......just didnt bother with it......
as long as i wasnt shivering......i was fine.....it did however freak others out if they should happen
to come in contact with me......

we went to the snow once in an old XD falcon....just me and the missus.....
i was wearing really thin traky pants and a t-shirt........she had a tracksuit on.....the heater had never worked since we bought the car....
as we were driving...the missus is slowly putting on more and more of her ski suit.....
i mean pants..jacket...snowboots.....beanie.....it was obviously getting colder the closer we got....
then she reached over and touched my arm and nearly freaked.....
she shreiked....youre frozen.....i guess she was right...i had no body temperature...but i wasnt uncomfortable yet......
im in a t-shirt and she looked like she was about to go skiing.....

and we were still an hour from the snow..........!!

Well it was 0deg according to BlackBetty this morn.
My first task was to deliver 2 loads of water to farmers whose rainwater is running out.
Yet another I wish I had my Digi camera moment.
I got to the standpipe at about 7.30,there was a frozen drip from the pipe to the ground, the pipe is about 8 feet off the deck.COLD

bottomed at -4* here this morning according to my digi thermometer on an up turned garbage bin on the front lawn. Very scientific

When I went to look out the kitchen window it was frosted inside, literally. I had to scrape the ice away to look out

The lowest we've seen here is -7 four years ago during the drought. Virtually every morning for three months it was -5 to -7. The little cottage we were living in had little icicles inside some mornings.

don't listen to 'em Ron I'm impressed by your hardiness.
It never got much above 8* here yesterday and the breeze cut like a knife and I was working in the shade all day. It was highly unlikely my jumpers were going to be removed.
