Just seams strange that every time I have something getting close to delivery date I start getting the scammers a couple of days before it arrives & stop once they arrive ,a coincident , I think not.

Have a parcel from Australia that tracked to Coventry airport on the 17th September where it was ha Dwd over to local delivery company. No movement on the tracker since.
Will be asking the sender to start enquires about where it is. Now in 20 years had not had a parcel lost some are returned to Australia and make a second trip but they make it
This though all depends on the organization they use though. A nameless big name international courier company delivered a parcel to the right number wrong house. (All street names here are the same just end in street, avenue etc. Not sure if this was lazy or a Friday afternoon back from the pub joke.) they retrieved the parcel but it then goes into a different tracking system and could not be found. Said no worries would let the sender know it would be coming back.
Not so fast seems that as a private delivery company they do not have to return undelivered parcels even if a return address is clearly marked on the parcel. This would cost too much and they would send the parcel to auction. I needed to ask the sender to claim on the insurance
Every bastard is on the make. They **** up & you lose out.
A few years ago now I ordered from a then reputable crowd two cartons of Wine 1x red & 1xbubbly.
Got the bubbly ok as normal, but the red found it's way to Darwin by Rail where it appeared it had a right old time, traveling hither & thither, except to Mr Bee's.
I gave up the hunt after a while in sheer desperation when the Carrier offered to reimburse me for the cost of the goods.
The previous order had been a lovely drop so I hope the thieving bastards enjoyed it.
Eeerr ,no I don't. I hope they had a dose of the ****s.
yes.... this the thread to praise Australia Post for it's excellent work....
Well............ I got a normal parcel post from Inglewood to my PO box in Queenscliff in a day and a half, and some parts from Roverlord, express post, overnight this week.
Heather / Mario even texted me to say they were at my PO, thanks! [bigrolf]

Our mail man came in the morning on Friday & I cleared the post box a lunch time , then when we were going out around 3pm he stopped me as I was backing out the driveway to give me some more mail, he has only been coming Tuesday & Thursday lately , so it's been four times this week . It's a miracle[biggrin]
Received this Email this morning Attachment 174603 suppose to be from AP , has not even got AP symbol on it , am guessing it is a scam even though my wife has been waiting 2 months for some clothes our daughter ordered for her online ( we don't have a tracking number)but is supposed to be coming with Star Track . Just seams strange that every time we have a delivery coming we get a delivery scam message. [bighmmm]
*I JUST LOOKED UP AUST POST SCAMS & YEP IT IS SECOMD ON THERE LIST & SAME TRACKING NUMBER ALSO *
No guessing it's a scam................ look at the sender address.
Also, especially during lockdowns, there is an immense amount of online shopping......... and a fair proportion is delivered by AP so there is a fair chance at any point in time someone is awaiting a delivery and a sitting duck for clickbait.
cheers, DL
Yep, I got a message overnight stating that my Amazon delivery was on its way. A good thing I don't have an Amazon account.
To make a clean breast of it, I don't even have an Amazon![smilebigeye]
