Theres such a variation in service.

4days from what is essentially China to China. I would have thought it would all be a very slick operation over there.

In that time DHL can have a package exiting the UK within 12 hours and with a stop over in HK that package then into Sydney inside of 2 days.

Packages reliably take a lot longer to get from Sydney to your door, than they do from the UK to Sydney. UK to your door is about 5 maybe 6 working days.

Given that I suspect that the purchase is a scam I will be surprised if it turns up at all. But scammers usually don’t provide tracking numbers, so we’ll see. I guess a parcel of some sort must exist.

Bills? Love Kill Bill Ian and the New Sisu will rock. No Gas bill ever again, Power may need to pay me. My CFA volunteer gig costs me a bit of time but they are almost completely Electronic no snail mail

Cheques are subject to GDP tax, require stamps and the snail mail route plus the still common cheque fraud. add

Years ago, my brother was the manager of a fairly large, postal district. One Chrissie, when there was a backlog, he jumped on a postie bike on Christmas Day and did several runs, to deliver articles.

His rationale? He envisaged some lonely, little, old person waiting for a special gift from a distant rellie.
