    Brindies trip is over!

2 hours of play and one destroyed Rangie. Picks are loading. It took us 4 hours to recover the wreckage back to canberra.
Yet again a cargo barrier saved the day.

Yep well Tony rolled 2 1/4 times down a hill. Only salvageable panels are the drivers side rear door and the tail gate.

The Rangie is safe for the night and the others are on their way back home to arange transport for the whats left. There will be quite a few late nights getting a new ride buit up unfortunatly as the damage is worse than it looks.

We think the rear drive shaft broke as he lost traction and it just turned and rolled. Some trail bike riders came along after we had recovered it to the bottom and they only got half way up before turning back.

Was the separation of the rear drive shaft a contributing factor?

Edit you beat me to it

    I'm so sorry

Jesus. Good to hear all are alright, but there is a lot of work ahead by the looks of it.

Out of interest, what was happening when it all went pear shaped?
    Cheers

Tony was just going over that rock in the picture of the track when she sudenly started to slide. Next thing he knew they were back down the track on their side.
I was farther back round the corner when it happened trying to catch up. Came round the bend to see scouse stoped and them all getting out. As I stopped they yelled he's rolled it so we all just ran to the wreck. The one with mine sitting across the track was during the recovery. Turned out the track was realy loose and slipery. During the recovery mine started turn sideways and while trying to move it I couldn't get traction she just crab walked sidewas across the track till the rear slid out enough to straiten up.
