Didn't know whether to place this link in this thread or covid thread. The meme above convinced me this is the thread for the following...

Covid 19 coronavirus: Police and Auckland University investigating claims of '''superspreader''' - NZ Herald

    *sigh*

Ok. Do you think bomb threats like this are a joke, to be laughed off with a throw away line, " it's been happening for decades ? ". Why do you find it so hard to answer that with a yes or no answer? I genuinely would like to know why you think that way.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    This pretty much says it.

NSW Police Minister David Elliott said on Wednesday the security breach was being investigated by one of the world’s largest team of cybercrime detectives.

“It certainly takes a small and demented mind to interrupt HSC students, after a traumatic year during a pandemic when the nation is at a heightened state of alert in terrorism,” he said.

Your Murdoch press style thread title.

The ridiculous assumption that this generation is the only one having a “bad year”.

The over dramatic response to some idiot calling in a bomb threat - deal with it and ****ing move on.

I’ve dealt with multiple Infrastructure threatening bushfires (another one this week), Covid-19 (keeping 120 safe when at work), multiple high criticality projects.

And this past month I’ve been covering 2 other positions (shift jobs) and doing my Normal position and regulatory requirements.

So how difficult is this year for these young ones?

And right now in a Hospital post CHOLECYSTECTOMY. With my work laptop and doing my job tonight.

How do you manage to arrive at "And you think it's a joke?" from what Tombie's said. He made an observation of what has happened previously in one form or another. Hence...

Yeah I get it, you are a hero. Still, I feel for those kids whose future may be different not having the opportunity to get the results needed for University entry that they need to follow their dream. Call me soft if you want, [ not that I would care] but a report on a bomb threat is probably better than a report on casualties .

A previous post had ' I get the joke" in it. My question was does Tombie think it is a joke. A fair question, and easy to answer.

You have a weird definition of a hero Bob.
What I am is busy, focused and hard working.

Life doesn’t ever flow smoothly - these kids are learning a life lesson - and heaven forbid, might have to add another year of study.

When was the last bomb threat on a school on AU where something actually went bang? Or a device was even found that could?

Perhaps a little less of the old “BCP” (Bob’s Copy’n’Paste). Did anyone bother to talk to ANY of the students a week or so later? Almost guarantee none of them give it a thought - focused only on exams.

I don’t jump to your bark Bob.

I answered your post - that I find these “click bait” style posts you keep putting up to be the joke.

All you do is repost stuff people can find everywhere else online. You’re like commercials on a pay per view site - a pox, wasting bandwidth and time on stuff. You are the Murdoch of AULRO.
