Mate you hit the nail on the head there, kids today know that besides booting their backsides out of the school there is very little you can do, and because the parents of these kids often dont care they welcome a suspension because its a holiday. MattQuote:

As for my ears well who knows?
Did it on my dog.... he was happy tried to eat the laptop. if he is in another room he runs in not very happy at all!!
I tried listening to the sound last night on the laptop I was using with MusicMatch Jukebox which is set as default player. I thought I must of been harder of hearing than I thought but tonight listening to it on my other laptop running Ubunto and the default music player the sound is as clear anything.

I can hear it with the volume put up a bit and I dont want to hear it again:mad:
G'day Folks.
621/2 yrs totally deaf in R/ear, 60% in Left complete with Tinitus and could hear it clearly,
can't hear low frequency sounds as well as I should. but it was a change from the Cicadas that are resident in my ear, hospital told me the ringing would go in a few days, THAT WAS IN JANUARY 1973   .
I'm starting to get the impression that it depends on your speakers. I'm just using the laptop, and the speakers are only fairly average (they are probably the size of a 50c piece) because my wife could hear it. She can normally hear me f^r7 2 rooms away
At 55 and old boilermaker and can hear it.
Well being old, we brought the dog in. he's only 18 months old, and, zip! I don't think the speakers can reproduce the sound in that range.
