You blokes are on the spot and know what goes on locally. However, I think that it is worth keeping in mind that which I posted previously regarding liability. If I was there I would go at my own expense and risk and hire a 1 ton tray back ute with a small Hiab type of crane fitted on it, and just go and do it. It is not as like you are going to do it everyday; geez Mario may not even want to go a second time! The more you try and comply with endless regulations, H$S crap etc., the more people are going to know about it.
If it was me you would NOT get me in that ball crunching sling no matter the reason! He needs to be in his comfortable wheelchair.

Having spent a great deal of my life surviving on the water, I would be more concerned about having a disabled person on my boat, than how they managed to get on or off the bloody thing. What happens if the boat catches on fire, or some yahoo runs into the boat and it capsizes? There are a dozen scenarios that need to be considered.

Could not agree more. I started this thing because I WANT to get Mario, an AULRO legend, on to the water with a line in. Of course, I wanted to do so in the right way. I'm a conditioned Victorian, after all.......
I haven't yet given up on this, but I'm with you in the long run ( we may not have a "long run" here ), I just want this done, more than once. ND spoke about beraeucracy at the induction, and he is 100% correct. Every hurdle we meet is about Govt CYA stuff, and it sickens me.
There is a mob that may be able to help, a roll on, roll off thingo, but they require a minimum number for a charter. I'm contacting them tomorrow to see what the minimum number is viable for them. Anyone want to come? Anyone want to stump up in lieu of coming? Raffle for Mario?

All those namy thingos you see below your handle? Mario and Heather's shouldn't say Vendor. They should say "Legend".

Is that a trick question? The answer used to be place it behind the dash panel or in the heater box of your dearest enemy, but times change.

    Just sayin'.

I agree, Prawn heads would certainly be more convenient than a 50lb Mulloway but needs must at the time.

Yeah?? I can see you haven't been wasting your time hanging upside down, Mario. Or fishing.

I suppose the front Bonnet air intake would be a good place to place them, whereas a 50 lb Butterfish laying on the Bonnet might just look a tad obvious.
