This mirrors to some extent the early days of the DVA. Brick walls are put up, they want you to go away. Don't give them the satisfaction. Don't go away, stay firm. Can't say too much more here. Well the situation just got better , not, I cant believe this, the builders are coming Monday for the door widening and so I thought the lift preparation. ock oh, the funds for the lift preparation are lost in the system and cant be accessed by the builder. oh great the lift is on order and we paid extra for automatics doors and the emergency telephone out of out pocket. Some one at the NDIS has stuffed up big time. m support co ordinator had spoken to the NDIA and 4 hrs later has lodged an official compliant on my behalf and the have 48 business hrs to respond otherwise a complaint will be lodged to the ombusman and to Tony Smith my Federal Member ( speaker of the house) I was told by my co ordinator the 3 other participants are have issues also.
oh the shower commode finally arrived from America and cleared customs, is it coming with my wheel chair on Monday (which is from the same company as my wheel chair) N0 it's not it needs to be assembled first and then the seat custom made!. surly the could of made the seat whilst they were waiting for shipment. Custom made, no one came to take a template of my bum.

I doubt many people want a template of your bum, Mario. I certainly don't!

Got my new wheel chair today today but no buddy controls like ordered and no seat belt. sea belts are extra, thought they would be mandtory for safety i got them to fit a temporary one. i was positive i requested it. so coming back next wee.
l went to the local barber for a cut and parked the new chair in the garage. l then used a mobility walker and with Heathers assistance tried to walk back to house.

shortly after a few steps I passed out and hit the concrete , lucking it was my legs collapsing and l went down on my bum. unable to get up Heather went and got the builder and a mate and the 3 of them lifted me onto a chair so i could sit.

Had a busy morning with delivery of new wheel chair and lengthly O.T meeting.

builder is widening doors, front door , bedroom and lounge,l asked what about the bathroom door? and was told thats part of the bathroom mods which the funding mysteriously disappeared.
tomorrow lift company and builders coming to finalise the lift prep but lot funding still need to be sorted.
A letter i being drafted tomorrow to the ombudsman a ndis did not respond within the 48hr mandatory deadline on this escalated level case .

was going to show some pics of new toy but that will have to wait.
