RROC should be changed to Dipstick Owners Club. My next 4x4 will be another Rangie, but I would not join a moronic club like that, with that mentality. Most 4x4 clubs even Land Cruiser clubs generally accept any 4wd or member. The more the merrier.
I know where I would like to park my Fender with that sort of attitude.

I don't see what all the fuss is about - after all they don't let able bodied athletes in the Para-Olympics either!

i was a member of the toyota landcruiser club in brisbane for a few years. while i was a member a committee member who was also the first aid training upgraded to a disco, god dod he cop some, to the point where it was no longer funny, i think through peer group pressure he traded his disco fro another toyota

i left the club just before i took ownership of my first rangie

have been a bit warey of clubs since

i guessing there are plenty of clubs/organisations that have restrictions on membership, i guess we just have to llive with it

That sort of stuff is understandable, but still BS.
I can't believe they'd even debate whether to allow RRS.
Do they wear their "Wellies" when driving!!
The RR Club of QLD have more Disco's than anything else , and got Fenders galore.
They are a bit conservative and a few more "4WD" trips would be good, but they're membership is pretty open.
They've even got a few Nippon drivers (which I think is not right).

A Land Rover is a Land Rover - go and join a LR club

Unfortunately, with Clubs and committees comes politics and knobs, but it can be avoided and overcome.
Or get out there with your AULRO mates, everyone gets on here, don't they

I SAID DONT THEY - YOU PACK OF %)^(#+^#

Personally i think any form of descrimination is a pile of ****e, whether it comes from Landie owners or jap 4B owners, and usually 95% of the time it's the driver that determans how good a 4B is the other 5% is usually luck at whether you make it over an obstical or not.

I uaually make friends with the owner of the 4B not what he drives, after all ya can't talk around a campfire over a beer with a 4WD, know matter how good you think it maybe

So if anyone bags your choice of 4B then don't have a beer with him or her, it's only funny for a while before it becomes annoying
