Exactly - yet so many get it bloody wrong it’s pathetic.
Police could make a years revenue just manning roundabouts for a week.

Problem is many brain dead motorists believe it’s “give way to the right” and then the fun starts!

The Rule for R/abouts in Perth is , don't give anyone else a clue what/where or what you are going to do next .

Yes. I once designed a cam system with the cams hidden and the feed going to a HDD/DVR system. It worked, but was way too cumbersome, and the cams I used, 20 years ago almost, were poor quality. These days it would be dead easy to do it with cams from dead laptops, and nobody would see them. GPS chips are available as well. A 1TB DVR will record far more than a 32GB SD card, and from multiple channels. Might have to have another try at that..

And they may be 50 metres away on your right, and still expect way to be given.

A TOG Senior once told me that there are only two things you can do wrong at a roundabout. One is to go around it the wrong way, and the other is to hit someone. Touch over simplified maybe, but pretty close.

" and getting rebuilt in Jan due to crashes " Which one is that Fatso? You live up above Wanneroo I believe so just look at the mess they've made of the Ocean Reef/Wanneroo Road intersection. What an absolute balls up. Why the hell they can't just design and install a good sized roundabout I don't know. And why did they need to put that monstrous flyover (complete with some pretty pink paintwork to be more inclusive....) at Joondalup Dr/Wanneroo Rds????? Again a good sized roundabout would have done the job. Of course they'd then need to employ red flag men to walk cars round them but they could sack a few of their so called designers and pay them out of the wages saved.
If any department in WA needs a good clear out it's Main Roads.

Strangely, pink doesn't make me feel "included".

I speak only for myself, obviously. No need for re-education here.

That looks easy enough to navigate. Try this one in England.
