Back to normal in the NT.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

We've spent a few hours watching crocs and other wildlife in Kakadu. Wonderful place once away from the campgrounds. Pig or dog it's a good lunch for the beast.

WE took a two door Torana with a roof top tinnie to Kakadu, during one dry season. Tried to get to twin falls, but Jim Jim creek stopped us. Stayed at Yellow Waters, camped rough, but saw some awesome wild life.

Is anything 'normal' in the Territory??

Its definately a territory tale .. the croc has now grown to 4.5mtrs in the news casts up here.

Knowing the area that was filmed ,there is a community near by so would think its was one of the camp dogs..

Doesn't look like a dog to me, looks like a croc... Oh, unless you mean the thing in its mouth......

Isn't it a S.O.P to take a dog with you to a swimming hole in the NT?
The theory being that the crocks prefer to attack a dog than to attack people

I don't know why this is such a big news item as seeing crocks in the NT and the Kimberly is pretty commonplace.

You miss the point. NORMAL in the NT is having a crocodile on the front page of the NT news. Any territorian will tell you that, it's a standing joke. This is what an old aboriginal man told me about crossing creeks in croc. country in the NT. First across were the old women, and small children. They then called the camp dogs across, followed by the young women, then the old men, last of all the young initiated men, and any stragglers. That's as told to me, by an old man. No idea how factual it is.
