    Vintage Vino value ?

SWMBO was cleaning out some rooms, and happened across this. - Not quite as old as 'Er Inside, but very close. Has been stored on it's side, so cork would be in accpetable condition, after 30 to 40 years... Date 1961. By now, I'd wonder if that winery still exists, - and still in Aussie ownership.... As you can guess, we aren't great wine-bibbers...

Any ideas if this was a Good Drop ? Worth much money? - or a Nice label & glass bottle full of drain-cleaner...

EDIT: - Alas, it was sold off, bought back, then sold off again, this time to a French Company. 'Pernod' - Wiki.

Worst comes, you could sprinkle it on your fish and chips.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

It’s probably well past it’s best.
Why don’t you email Orlando your images - they may be interested in having it for historical value.

We have lots of bottles of wine that have been given to us taking up valuable space in spare fridge & kitchen cupboard's, every couple of years lately at Christmas we start opening some , after about 6 bottles we find one that is OK for the kids (not kids anymore) to drink. All tastes like drinking vinegar to me.

It would be interesting to hear Orlando's comments on that bottle and if they are interested in degauzing it.
