What about if a guy that identifies as a girl is only attracted to guys that identify as a girl but not guys that identify as guys

Ahh, in that case, you need an invite to the occasional BBQ's that some of my old friends from uni put on. They are mostly gay, bi, crossdressers, or drag queens etc, and funny as hell.
As one of the few straight people there (male, pale and stale), I have been christened the 'Masculine Presenting Transgendered Lesbian'. Ok, now try to wrap your head around, and interpret that! Ha ha.

What if I just want to identify as me? I am what I am, and changing the label won't change that.

Back when a fair part of my life was spent in and around hospitals I was frequently asked if I identified as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and I always responded " what happens if I say yes?". I never received an answer.

That's where you listen to the likes of Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington and just be you, with no labels. I like that viewpoint - it's less divisive.

On occasions I have been tempted to tick that box in documents to find out. Maybe the world would open up to my amazed eyes & lots of back pay pensions, housing etc etc. would come my way.

Probably what would happen in reality, is that I'd get done for falsifying Official Documents & spend the next 10 years in clink.

Bugger that for a Game of Soldiers.

Got asked the same question when I checked into hospital for surgery last year. My response was "do I get better treatment or food, a private room?". Like you I got no answer.
