    When I look at these cages, I don't see a major risk of hangups, added width or added risk to pedestrians... but I do see lotsa added safety.

    Dave S3 is rite, we call them equipment racks officer here I have an engineers report to prove it.

    Exo cages are as a rule only brush bars unless they have cross braces as in internal cages. The strongest option is both exo and internal braced together.

    Qld transport rules are under revue and roll cages as we know them will be changed. If the new rules apply there will be no frontal braces permitted. Single hoop over the driver with rear bracing only so if you have a ute a single hoop will be all you can fit. I don't know when or if this round of new rules will apply. This is Qld transport law unto themselves.
