I rarely go to Repco in Joondalup as when inquiring as to the type of oil for the D4s engine not long after I'd bought it, one of their "team members" told me "Put anything in it, it's only a ****ing Landrover"! He wasn't even the bloke checking on the computer for info. for me.
Seems like attitude is everywhere as I was told at a local ARB when inquiring about a bullbar etc.,..."You can get the info. off the internet". So I asked why he was there then and got it done at OL Bunbury instead where they were happy to talk and take my money.
As I told a customer service person at the CBA, "I may be in my seventies but I'm not yet ****** senile" after she asked a couple of silly questions and treated me like a sweet little doddering old man. :)
AlanH.
I was behind a customer when I was getting some penrite pas or ACE. the customer in front of me was after a tail light bulb for a discovery 2, the staff member was looking it up and asked was it for a Td5 or V8, I over heard and said they were the same. the guy behind the counter insisted to ask the customer more options on the D2 per model spec.
When I finally got to pay for the fluid the guy smiled and looking at my bottle and said you have got a VW haven't you. said no and he looked confused.
Luck of the draw - my local store and the 2 nearby all all car nuts!
Yep, I'm a Burson's person now. I've been to the one in Brendale a few times and had no issues. I recently had the local auto sparky over to check the aircon on the D3. The under dash filter was filthy and he suggested I go to Bursons rather that the other places. Took them 2 minutes to get the correct filter and me out the door, all for $42.
