    Flooded House

just had my office and bedroom flooded in a once in 50 year downpour, run down the road, backed up one of my inlets and turned it into an outlet and in it came. Bugger, there goes my sleep
    cheers

One place I lived we found out in a similar once in 50 year event that someone had connected their sewage to the storm water. How did we know this? It backed up and started overflowing from the toilet

    N.W.Tas. Flooding

I've been watching it on the radar on the B.O.M. website all day.

Wynyard ended up with 4 inches!

Luckily only half an inch in Hobart but we missed out on all the thunder and lightning which was a pity.

Nothing better than watching a storm with a red wine in your hand. (except if it should be a mop!)

    Peter.

Some councils test for this sort of thing using smoke. Sewer smoke testing (tr.qld.gov.au)
