Just need more money than sense and hasn't happened as yet - but then cars that are older than the ADR change are getting fewer on the road.

Most of my cars that predate this ADR don’t go fast enough to get speeding tickets anyway. 😇

Agree. Also, a lot depends on what sort of a day the Policeman has had. If he/she has had a smartarse before you, your chances of sympathy are zero. So it's yes officer, no officer , three bags full officer. Thank you officer. You may not like it, but if you get pulled over by that officer again, it will go better for you. I always have my Garmin on line when I travel, with my 245 tyres my speedo is not accurate, the GPS gives me the correct speed. Also gives me red light cameras, and Hwy speed cameras. Attitude is everything.

Yes but in Victoria even if your car cannot go fast enough you can still get a ticket - as evidenced by the Datsun 120y fiasco a few years back.

As a general rule the speed signs are posted on the same pole, Have a look next time you pass one[thumbsupbig]

A big issue here in the country are signs that are overgrown. Obviously they don’t change that often so you generally know where they are and what they say if you are a local. I do call the council for signs on council managed roads which are the main offenders. But certainly a trap for visitors..
