    This division if you follow world history will end badly for the least powerful side.

    Every nation in the world was invaded at some point in time it is what people are.

    I am first generation Australian, my parents home country was invaded by the Viking, the Normans, The Romans & so on
    Right .... love the inflammatory rhetoric. As you may have noticed from the actual article - which I’m presuming that you did in fact read? - the move to close part of the area is supported by the non-Aboriginal locals as they recognise the traditional landowners rights to the area and agree that visitors have been behaving like idiots and something has to be done.

    No inflammatory rhetoric

    I was only saying if they shut the tip it will cause division just like it did when Uluru was shut.

    Not saying it is right or wrong.

    Who actually shut it will get lost in translation.
    Cheers

    Is it just me, or does anyone else believe this thread has degenerated politically enough to be worthy of a move to CA? It certainly seems to be divisive enough.

    There has been no firm confirmation that the tip of the cape has been closed. From Mr 4x4;

    The Mayor of the Northern peninsula area Regional Council has a statement in the link.

Just when I thought I could at least plan, recover and dream for better days I just keep on reading this crap of closures It seems I might not even be able to see OZ after all?

    Australia is a big country, there will always be places to go, things to see. Ignore the social media rants, just do it.
