Thanks John Tins for your assistance it was really appreciated.

John Tins came around to assist me today and it was greatly appreciated.
I haven't been out of the house for about 3 weeks as it is too difficult, any way to I carefully got to my garage and hopped on to my wheel chair, fastened the seat belt put it in drive and all of a sudden I hear John say I had a flat .
Oh well, cant tell if it's just flat or had a puncture.

So we hook up my airline and tyre inflator and John attempts to inflate the tyre, but no luck it's not pumping up. In fact no air is coming out of my tyre inflator hose. So we cant work out why it was not inflating. So John makes a quick dash home and come back with his portable 4wd compressor. we try again and still it won't pump up.

It appears the schrader valve's pin might be too short stopping the air nozzle to push it open.
What a joke, so what the idea of this, you can't just go to a servo and pump them up. Surely they don't need a special adapter? or replacing the valves.
I don't have a wheel chair jack either so cant remove it to take to a tyre shop. I suppose I could have called the RACV wheel chair assist, but the Wheel chair company are coming out Monday anyway to fit something so will get them to deal with it,.

Why would you design a pneumatic wheel with a keyway as the drive mechanism considering you would need to be changing the tyre, surely a hub and 3 or 4 wheel studs would be a better arrangement?

I could have done it mate, but you have the chair mob coming on Monday so I let it go. I don't understand the valve issue, and they need to address that, You should be able to inflate your tyre as if it was on a car. Even bicycles can do this.

Looking forward to Monday, even though I'll probably get seasick. We want you to have this, mate.

Oh to be a fly on the transom.
Make sure you have a hearty breakfast John. Bacon, eggs, sausage, black pudding and fried bread should suffice.

It could not get any better unless we bag out with some PBs. Tins description just might make that easy? I will get Mario's PBs from him before we wet a line

I spent the best part of yesterday with an ex-Navy cook. It was a mistake to go I for a counter lunch with him.
