I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

She's a fine Australian, gracious in victory or defeat. So many of our "revered" sporting celebrities could take a page out of her book.
Jonathon Thurston is her male counterpart in the "feet on the ground" role model.
Good onya Ash, best wishes in the final, you've done us and yourself proud.

Ash is a Queenslander, as is Thurston. Just sayin'.

Are you pointing out she's a "Fine Australian" despite being a Queenslander, or that she's a Queenslander rather than a "Fine Australian"? Either way, a bit harsh really....

Just saying she's a Queenslander, mate. And we are proud of her. Nothing harsh about it.

Nah! Remember the 'Lithgow Flash'? People from Katoomba didn't get peeved about it.

Ash Barty is a Ngaragu woman from northern NSW. She is proud to be following in the footsteps of Yvonne Goolagong Cawley.

Yes but she trained for greatness in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Ash Barty: Ash Barty’s humble home courts at West Brisbane Tennis Centre a green oasis in an industrial setting (theaustralian.com.au)

Ooh, ooh, ooh! I can now find where that is, using Navydiver's, 'Aboriginal Lands' map.

    Thanks, SpudHeadTed.
