Towing a 'Fail to Proceed' Vehicle that has CVT

Our ATV had a bit of an issue, during the week. It was in a paddock, about 800 metres from it's pen and I thought I would have to tow it back.
As it turned out, it was just a loose earth connection.
The ATV is 2wd,4wd,4wd lock configuration. My question is: With the CVT, can it be towed in 'N' for any distance?

Depends on the config I'd imagine, we have a Polaris and a Can Am quad and both of them have low range, high range, neutral, park and reverse on a gearbox. Neutral disconnects the cvt mechanism and I've towed the can am with no ill effects but they are both belt drive CVT. The one Polaris side by side I've had a bit to do with seemed to have a very similar transmission.

Thanks Tote. My first idea was to put the rear, drive wheels on to the tractor's carry all.
