WA has done a Lot of thing differently in regard to the COV19 problem to most of the other States to "Suit themselves" and at the end of the day this has actually worked[thumbsupbig]Quote:
See the latest that the PM has pushed onto the State and Territories bar WA who agrees in principle but is delaying to suit themselves.
If you look at the differences in the numbers of COV19 cases, the economy, the social upheavals and the normallity of daiy life in WA compaired to many of the other States it is blindingly obvious that WA's approach to COV19 has been extremely effective.
Just look at NSW at the moment more than 21,000 new cases and six deaths since the new boy king scrapped all the COV19 measures in the "Gold" standard State.
Then you did well my son. You should chuck fridgie work & become a Retailer. You must have got in before the crooks woke up?
Stay safe.
Yes but people in the other States can travel interstate and internationally to visit friends and return home where you guys are still locked in your fortress cave. Might be OK for you personally but not for many others.
Hospitalisations and ICU admissions are actually decreasing based as a percentage of overall infections. In 5 years time WA will be still locked up in their State where the rest of Australia will be living with Covid and free to travel unless the Feds bring in legislation to override the State.
Then the Govt. would want to build more Mortuaries & can you just imagine the hullabaloo over that.

Maybe they could place them next to the latest planned Radioactive Waste Dump in SA North?
They could support each other.
3 reasons the announcement to dump radioactive waste in South Australia is extremely premature
As expected for a highly vaccinated population - but also remember that typically, hospital admissions lag one or two weeks or more behind infection, ICU admissions two to four weeks behind hospital admissions, and deaths several weeks after ICU admissions - so the figures for hospital and ICU admission should be set against infections two weeks ago, at the very least. With cases doubling every couple of days, that is a huge difference.
