They're more dangerous than the virus. (which I caught whilst wearing a mask full time)
    You are not alone !

Alas! Dr Norman Swan.... has had TWO bouts of covid... after Four jabbbbs. Not only but also, Germany's Health minister has also had covid after many boosters. And Dr Fauci, and Joe Biden - after (Joe B. ) saying on a now-viral video.... that after jabbing, 'you won't get it, and won't have to wear a mask..'

Why are we not surprised that you couldn't miss the opportunity to promote your misinformation and conspiracy theories?

Let me repost the article about Covid myths ..... in particular Myth #1:

Three myths about COVID-19 — and the biggest challenge that lies ahead - ABC News

"Myth #1: It's just a cold now so let's get it over with

Like everyone, I'd grown tired of the pandemic and all the ways it has upended our lives.
Maybe it would be better to catch the 'rona and get it over with, now that I'm fully vaccinated?" I wondered.
After all, isn't it just a cold in fully immunised people? And once I've had it, won't I have acquired immunity that will mean I won't get sick at all if I get it again?
That's certainly what I'd have hypothesised from four decades of frontline immunology research into T and B lymphocytes.

But for SARS-CoV-2, those assumptions appear flawed.
Last month, US researchers shared the preliminary results of a study looking at the impacts of SARS-CoV-2 infection and reinfection in a cohort of more than 5 five million American veterans.
The researchers examined the health records of more than 250,000 people who had been infected once; 36,000 people who had been infected twice; and 2,000 people who had been infected three times.
They found that for every health outcome measured, the Hazard Ratio — a measure of how often something happens in one group compared to another — increased with each COVID-19 infection.

The risk of cardiovascular disease, for example, increased after one infection, but doubled in people who had two infections, and tripled in those who had been infected thrice.

The numbers translate into 50 extra cases of heart disease per 1,000 people who've had COVID-19 twice."

Did Joe Biden not say that ?

Better get my hearing checked... Video of Biden Saying Vaccinations Prevent COVID Resurfaces After Infection

Interesting, the jab makers have been more modest in their claims than the Pollies, - the (US) government / Dr Fauci, Walensky et al have been spruiking on their behalf and making some rash claims.

It seems we are resistant to infection 1-2 weeks after vaccines and boosters. It wanes after 3 months or so. We are significantly less likley to get severe illness if we are up to date with recommended vaccines. I will get a 4th shot in a few months (3 months after getting Covid)

Met several people who have not got it so far. That number is getting fewer and fewer a lot to quickly for my likening

The current vaccines designed for BA 1 are not so great for B A 4 and 5. News I think I posted was USA is rolling out BA 1, 2, 3 4 & 5 capable in September ( their Autumn )
It might be a easy I hope if its in a single vial with flu vax. I am sooooo Over the 6 -10 dose vials.

I saw something today that made me think, if I was in the medical research field I'd try to get a grant to investigate how mask wearing has affected people manually changing their minds.

Good to see Moderna will make mRNA vaccines in Melbourne. We should be self-sufficient in the best vaccines.

I'm currently isolating after a positive RAT test.
I've had 4 vaxes, so hoping the effects will be limited to the current runny nose.
Had a nose bleed last night, which rattled me until it stopped.

Several relatives and friends are currently positive.

I actually reported my positive RAT to Qld Health, but I assume many people don't bother, so the official figures greatly understate the real situation.

Glad to see mildish symptoms for you Mick. Bisolvon and aloe vera tissues are my tips sir.

Monash University is cock a hoop at getting the cutting edge plant at it. The students, Scientist, chemists and all of us are winners from that.

Thanks for that advice. I'm going thru a LOT of tissues.
My GP said I qualified for an antiviral, so I am taking 4 pills every 12 hours for 5 days of Lagevrio.
She preferred it to Paxaloid which can clash with other meds.
My nose has slowed from a continuous flow to an hourly drip, so that's progress, I think.
I'm spending my isolation rereading the Lord of the Rings series, after recently visiting Hobbittown in NZ.
