Just telephoned to cancel my QLD Hub Vaccination Appointment…..I think it was tougher process than when I registered.

Interesting outcome was I would have turned up to the wrong hub…..my paperwork says Brighton, the QLD Gov computer system said Boondal. Would I still have got my Jab if I turned up at the wrong hub??

The last bit about 14 days ad nauseum sounds like Govt, Gobbledegook.
This means "Ian the Truckie" will have to wait for another couple of years.

The race in the states and federally for a double dose percentage (eligible or actual) has gone totally awry.

The longer term efficacy of the vaccines re: timing between first and second doses, has been thrown out the window in the race to say populations have been double dosed to suit political outcomes.

I'd bet that the modelling did not take into account the 'new' less than ideal efficacy second dosing timeframes.

I know what you mean DL, but maybe not so much a closed shop but more of a Daisychain if you get my drift?

What is it with some people?
With the threat of a lockdown in SE Queensland, one comment on social media was made by a woman about how angry she'd be if she had to cancel her child's "1st birthday" party!!!

I'm sure the party was all about the baby, hey!

Yes - I noted that my second shot of AZ has not been scheduled until 12 weeks after the first as per the recommended best practice for that vaccine - but the recommendation for those in "hot spots" is between 4 and 8 weeks. And some of these "experts" wonder why their credibility is in question.

It's simply a risk managed trade off between protection and time, Brian.
