Doesn't worry me, I'm triple vaxed.

Well, unless the holiday makers are congregating in work pods indoors I'd suggest that they're less likely to catch something there than at work. But the issue is that lots of people appear to have lots of leave and have taken January off.

I dont see the point of restrictions now, if the majority of the population are vaccinated then get rid of them. Its only the health compromised and tin foil hat brigade that are getting sick from it and who knows how many would have died from the common flu anyway.

Mark McGowan and his Attorney General have gotta travel to Sydney next month for a defamation hearing. I wonder if he has to apply to get back into WA - I bet he a bit concerned about bursting into flames when he crosses the border when heading east.

No, but judging by the ute and boat combos I saw at Yanakie at NYE, they should because it'd be extremely profitable.

    Black duck event?

Yep I am positive. RAT test after seven days in ISO has a very faint red mark. Off for a PCR test in the morning. Not a symptom in sight and over an hour on a skipping rope last night suggests my body is not feeling it at all.
    The :
    • Two AZ
    • two Nova vax ( No idea of the strengths of the nova vax injected in to me during a drug trial)
    • 1 3rd dose/booster fizer

are very likely to keep me out of hospital happily

Self Reported my sorry ass to DHS was quick COVID-19 Positive Rapid Antigen Test Self-Reporting Form
    * Department of Health Portal

Legally I was required to do a RAT or PCR test day six of ISO for the other sod in the house who was not required to test. We did and he tested negative today

The legally or RULZ bit seems a bit odd as one bit says "Don’t get another test if you have already tested positive. You don’t need it. You are automatically released after 7 days." while other required to isolate "
    • They must get tested again on Day 6 of their isolation period with:

My 7th day today effectively starts again. 14 dayzzzzzzzzzzzz Marathon training is tough in ISO!

And if the PCR comes back negative which it is quite possible it will do? Does that mean you are out of jail?

Stupid schools and their "Planning". Apparently I need to line up in a car at 13:00 Friday to collect 4 RAT tests. Daughter cant walk across the road and collect them, despite the fact that she'll be there Tuesday, RAT or not, They can't be collected from any other place or at any other time. Kind of them to assume that I can just take time off to suit their collection schedule and play their stupid games. Oh and apparently it isn't mandatory for the kids to do the tests at all.
    GRRR.
