Life is odd as a very good mate who is a NON vaccine type is a mushroom believer. Not saying his belief in his mushrooms for his issues or joy are bad!

It was great to see him again. I would share video of the events yet once seen it can never be unseen! A new person or two suggested or noted a simularity between Midnight oil leads dancing and my movement

Back to Covid. On several flights I noted at least 10 clearly ill people coughing a lot! I did not mask up as Vaccine and my recent likely RSV infection gave me a bit of leeway.

IF in enclosed areas like Medical Centers, flights busses or similar and you have not had a recent vaccine for Flu/ Covid I suggest you think about masking up with a N95 type mask. Taking an ounce of prevention is worth ten tones of cures.
Don't you dare walk on the rug Effendi. Has she mentioned she also bought a Kashmiri sword. Think on shipmate.,

It'd be a bit hard if said rug is meant to hang on the wall, unless you are Fred Astaire of course in "Royal Wedding 1951".

Brownie Points for WA. (Health Dept) Gov.

Recent YouTube video from Dr John Campbell. - Says Nice Things about the transparency and presentation - easy to read - of this report from 2021. Yes, almost impossible to believe a State Government is doing something really really well !
Google. "Dr John Campbell Bad Australian Vaccine data"

But a more useful one would be his "Vitamin D doses". where he catches up with current research. Spoiler: - essential for a Safe & Effective natural immune system. .

And the videos on RH side have enough good stuff to keep you educated/distracted for hours.

    Bloody Colds

Everyone in my family, including my 95yo mother has had Covid at least once and all are vaccinated.

Thankfully I have been able been able to dodge Covid - just plain good luck I suppose.

But colds are a different beast - I have had 5 in the past year including one right now and one just 4 weeks ago. All have laid me up in bed for at least 4 days. Yet those in my family who got Covid only were crook for a couple of days and claim it was less of an issue than colds - I would put this down to all being fully vaccinated. Even my Mum said it was not worse than a cold she and I shared this time last year, though COVID did have her in bed for a week.

Bloody colds - about time we got rid of them. Cough, cough - at least with this last bout my boogers are becoming solid again

Yep if we don't get kicked by that the other one bites use some times

RSV bite me really well before my holiday - It was a FULL BOX event. The interesting bit about colds, RSV, Flu and Covid is how different it can be from time to time or at the same time in the same families.

    Happy your solid again

I have done my last ever covid vaccine order and those rotten weekly reports. Chatted with another practice manager who did not do Covid vax. She was very happy with that choice! They are all vaccinated just happy to avoid the paper work I have endured for 3 years not being paid a cent for it

Grumble over. Very pleased to note I was directly involved in thousands of Covid vax and triple that plus for flu vax over the last 20 years. My end date is coming up very fast due to two problems I refuse to deal with.

More than please with my choice on that.

On Covid "Australian adults over 75 are being encouraged to get an additional COVID-19 booster dose.
Health Minister Mark Butler said all adults aged 75 years and older should receive a booster shot if six months have passed since their last dose, acting on advice from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI)."

We can all see the advantages of 60 day scripts. I personally think 6 months or 12 month options make more sense. Scripts expire after 12 months.

Paying the ferry man is a critical issue in Private business. The long hours, wages and overheads in Chemists might surprise some. The funding was largely via the money scripts bring in. 1/2 that and you see an issue with out much time!

They are private businesses that have via the 60 day change for 120 or so of common meds and an issue I flagged about state VIC and NSW getting a HUGE Kick from both ends.

A chat yesterday to try and take care of 4 doctors and several thousand people found I am not the only one exiting.

The people working quietly in the background like the pharmacy guild, RACPG and AMA are trying to keep a lid on what is already created Resignations and honestly rage at many frustrations and issues imposed on our business.

From your doctors perspective reducing the need to return to get that bit of paper or eScipt now is fantastic- They have so much more they could be doing like working out if they ar bankrupt or if they can PAYING five years of a new tax grab + penalties + interest in NSW or Vic.

Ask your Chemist if they have reduced hours, staff and more? If not yet they will be.

I have 5 covid jabs the 5th one this year and a flu shot as well. I think next year I wont get the covid jab, but I will get the flu jab. My son in Japan got covid 2 weeks ago, and he was off work for a week, with pain can not smell or taste, he is only now starting to get some taste and smell back. He has had 3 jabs, he does get a very bad reaction to them. Japan has the Moderna. Since he isn't teaching any more and changed jobs, he doesn't get an invite to get a 4th jab. That is how Japan ran it health workers, teachers etc got there's first over the general public. In the last couple of months Japan has down graded covid. Heather

So has my doctor's practice as now they don't get patients to wear masks when visiting, which has changed in the last 6 months since I was there.

Just walking the dog around the park. Lovely until a row pictures of people who had died on sticks Took me a while to see it was one of those types!

I wondered if the hundreds of kids and adults in the pictures listing very odd causes of death had any idea their loved ones are being flogged by a group of odd types who do not have to get vaccines now anyway. Suspect not as the when I asked if anyone knew any of the people in the pictures personally. None did. Not locals and not welcome really. I did think of suggesting to another dog owner to leave his dogs deposit which dropped right in the middle with the other rubbish. I refrained

On another topic the poor sods in China did get wacked apparently "China had almost 2 million excess deaths after the end of ‘zero-Covid,’ U.S. study finds

The numbers contradict official figures from Beijing, which has been accused of underplaying the impact of Covid being unleashed on its population."

Puts the issue in to perspective perhaps? That is from "from December 2022 to January, according to the study from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle published Thursday. The deaths, which were observed across all mainland Chinese provinces, except Tibet, were predominantly among older people."

    Very sad for them.
