I did, but not in Australia! I'm glad itwas only for a limited period of time. Life is much better outside the barracks...
I don't know if it counts, but when I was much younger...ahemm...,
Served 4 Years in The Army Reserve
5/6 RVR A Coy Infantry

Best On Course: IET Training
Qualified In:Mortars
Qualified In:SFMG
Sub 1 and 2 for Corporal
2 Years of that was in Full Time Reserves.....
That's how the Defender Disease set in.........:eek:
Nope but I am one of those Defence civi's. And I work for health in IT so that makes me the worst of the worst doesn't it?

Was in from Jan 94 and left end Oct '02. Left as Capt in RAA having done time at field and medium regts.
Joined the RAAF in 87 as a Cat2b trainee Airframes. Got out for three years and then got back in in 96, as an Atech.
Still enjoying it, used to hate the bull**** and now have just learnt to out bull**** the bull****:tease: ,,,, they soon stop bothering you:angel: /
Joined in 1991 as Radtech, now known as CETECH(Communications technician). Still in, enjoy it most of the time........spent a few years o/seas so can't complain, although I think a change is looming....
Going on 11 years with the RAAF as a Metalbasher, some would say not the real Military. Anyway still in but don't know for how much longer.
Have had some great trips around OZ and overseas working on different Aircraft and hope to do some more.
Have just got my hands on a 03 TD5 Disco.
I was only a cutlunch commando, but jeez - you regular guys must have armoured just about everything !!!:) :) :oQuote:
