    How did you manage that??

I joined the Reserves in 1985 and went Inactive in 1998. Spent most of my time at 10 Light Horse, with stints at 5Trg Gp (now RTCWA) and WAUR.

I'm now on DA50 and run the local Army Cadet Unit.

10 years in the RAAF as an engine/airframe fitter.

Good fun at the time, but could never do it again.

To much bullsh1t to put up with, not to mention lack of pay.

    Ran

    Hi,

16 yr old sign up with the RAN via Leeuwin.

NAS Nowra and Subs to mention a few postings.

Do not regret joining, do not regret leaving.

Though I did just fit my county with a Snorkel, so maybe there are still some hidden issues.

Different Time. I joined just as the old school was diminishing. Low Morale. Fixed Air Wing was being disbanded, We lost out on the Carrier because of the Faulklands War, and Melbourne had already been decomissioned.

    Another Era, Just memories now.

    Cheers.
