Is why dash cams are so important these days.
I encounter it in my wheelchair, forever having folks crash in to me as they are on their phones walking. I can go round most of the time, but some im pretty boxed in and even shouting to them, do absorbed in phones thst they don't hear anything. Never even an apology either. At least it's not like crashing into a wheelchair can kill them like a car on the roads
Sounds like you need to try harder and maybe fit some sharp objects to the front of your chair...
If you need to contact me please email [email protected] - thanks - Gav.

Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

How do you hear horns, level crossing bells & so on in a closed up, air conditioned car with headphones on & blasting?
Just seems dumb to me, but I do seem to becoming old fashioned with age.
Clearing the gene pool I guess!

BTW Folks who pay big $$ to go to the football (Or any event) then spend the whole time looking at their phones??
In the D4 with factory stereo up mild volumes you cannot hear signal crossings or many car horns either [emoji41]

I wear headphones in work LVs a lot, always with pass thru on. I can hear everything (I use them for phone calls)

And what of us Motorbike riders with audio in helmet? What’s the difference to a car or cyclist?

Cars going doof doof are worse on the road. They cannot hear ****!

It’s all about using sensibly - those that cannot shouldn’t bring punishment on those that can.

My running earphones things are specifically designed for me to hear everything clearly. No Noise cancelling tech in my running ones. Have to add when running past people with the Noise cancelling tech or intense on the phone types, I often see a huge jump of fright

Its is the user that mucks up I think as well. A nice pedestrian crossing near a busy small super market is often vacant as many to a lot walk across the road 10 to 20 meters from it. It is on the edge of a car park with three exits/entrys for cars on to and off the street right near the nice pedestrian crossing

Age is not the question at this spot. Stupid and bad habits from very young to very very old seen daily

600 Chinese dB PMPO. Bet they’re little squeakers.

I used to have a pump and 90 degree retic spray fitted to the front grille to “wake up” people who weren’t paying attention. That was always a bit of fun.
